NMR Coupling Project Prototype

Sticky Elemental Snow

This prototype was developed in collaboration with professor Ghislain Deslongchamps, of the University of New Brunswick. The purpose of the finished project will be to help Chemistry students better understand NMR Spectroscopy. It's entirely coded in AS3.

On the left, are the "splitters". When the student drags one to the stem a new spectrum is generated on the bottom, based on that splitter. While the user is dragging a splitter, a ghost of how that splitter populates its generation is visible. Once dropped, the splitter joins the splitter tree and splits the spectrum. Three levels of splitters can be dragged and dropped onto the tree.
